    Who's Behind the Computer - Part 3

I was talking to someone tonight about another tattoo... the problem is that I want a tarantula either walking out of my arm at you, front legs out and feeling. The problem is finding an artist, not just someone who tattoos things off the wall, but someone who can really free hand it and...

I am seeing a trend that all or most arachnophiles have tattoos too.

    Latrodectus geometricus

Ha ha! No thank you! I don't want to keep widows. :D I have no idea how one would go about shipping a black widow, if it is legal. :)

    What frightens you more?

Good thread... ...Well, I am definitely afraid of being bitten, not of the pain, but of reacting badly from being startled and hurting the spider. :( I've been bitten by a very large wolf spider, stung by wasps, had my lip bitten clear through by my cat once, etc. I can't imagine it would...

    Flying tanks as food

I think so, a variation on it anyway. This particular one (and Sting) both come from a specific area where they seem to be "oranger". :) I have 3 others from my neighborhood that I caught, or someone else rescued from drowning and brought to me, that look 99% the same, except maybe less...

    Flying tanks as food

Hi Ted... I caught another one. I was about to drop it into Sting's cage when I remembered you. :) So... now that I have it, what do you want me to do with it? It's a little smaller than the last one, about an inch long.

    Latrodectus geometricus

Yeah, we have black widows all around our house here in the North Valley of Phoenix. I don't know much about them, but they really mind their own business and tend to stay out of the way. I have chased off a female or two that were too close to where traffic was (I mean our porch/walkway to...

    flea bomb

I am sure you'll find somebody. I mean, it's not like they spend all their time plotting to escape and bite toes. :D Well, at least I don't think they do.

    Tailess whipscorpions

Last year I had one hanging around on my house. I should have caught it back then, it was beautiful, so elegant. This was before I embarked on my tarantula and now I think "arachnid in general" collecting/keeping. :) If he/she ever comes back I will give it a good, safe home. :) We have...

    woodlouse hunter (Dysdera crocata) care

OMG We used to get those in our house sometimes, but I used to find them in the woods under rocks and old logs/bark (this was back in NH). Scared the **** out of me!

    Too many babies?

We are just a drop of spit on the ocean. The Earth will fix itself up when we are long gone. May even fix itself up and catch us in the process. :)

    flea bomb

We've never HAD a flea problem, but a heads up, one of our dogs is wicked allergic to frontline-like chemicals. Put it on him, had to take him to the emergency room for drugs to help him get through the itching. :( Poor pup. He is also allergic to bug bites.

Ever tried snails or slugs as food?

Our poodle eats cat and dog poo then comes, has a drink and comes right over to offer his appreciation for the snacks with kisses.

    Flying tanks as food

Does this help? Well, I stuck my hand in to give you a comparison but I scared her too much. :) She's hiding in the log under where my hand is. She's all scrinched up and to the back of the tube/log, but you can see the tips of her front legs to the left. My hands are medium sized for my...
