How often should I feed it? I was thinking 3 crickets a week but should they all be at the same time or over the course of the week like every other day ?

Try this one. He's been digging and hiding under one of the spots since the video was taken so I think he's fine.
Will do, they are actually not blue-death they are just regular death-feigning beetles ( one smooth, one rough ) and the third is a fuzzy darkling. The scorpion doesnt pay any mind to them just runs right over them.
Little guy seems to be doing well, Just moved him into the tank after I added sand and mixed it up with the clay. He is quite active though, I think just trying to explore the new environment. Here's a vid of him running around https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3tSwBsPCdfwLWFXemlzRU1rY2M

Ok I ordered some repti sand, It wont be here for a couple days after the scorpion arrives, Will it be okay to keep it in the current setup temporarily until the sand comes ?
Hello everyone,
I just made my first purchase of an arachnid, a Giant Hairy Desert Scorpion (Hadrurus arizonensis). He should arrive sometime tomorrow and I was wondering if my enclosure is good enough. I have a low-watt heating pad under the tank on one side and i'm not sure if it is safe to...
