I put in three separate orders with Eresus Spider Shop, one on 5/22, another on 6/8, and a final one on 6/29. In total, I ordered 68 tarantulas, and it cost me around $1000. Eresus combined all three of these orders and shipped them out yesterday (7/11) and they arrived today (7/12). This means...
I used to buy ReptiSoil until I tried out a giant bag of topsoil... and realized that they were nearly the exact same thing. According to the bag, ReptiSoil is "A special blend of Peat Moss, soil, sand, and carbon." If you really wanted this exact mix you could buy all of the ingredients and mix...
I did not buy it as the "blue" type, but it was very brown when I originally received it. Here's how it looked before it molted:

Hello, sorry to post this in your thread, but you seem very knowledgeable. Any idea what the creature at 0:12 seconds is? I'm used to seeing springtails in my water dishes, but I don't think I've ever seen these before. Thanks in advance.

You say you found it in an imported plant, do you know where the plant came from? Hysterocrates is my favorite genus, so this is very interesting to me.
Thanks, I've been checking on it periodically to make sure it's still doing all right. Fingers crossed it doesn't die on me, I'd hate to lose any more of my pets.
What the hell is this? Everything has been fine since I got a new batch of worms, but then I see this... It's still alive by the way... I tapped it with a pippette and it freaked out and ran out of the water dish. It seems to be all right at the moment, but what is that white stuff coming out of it?
You are not going to get a definitive ID on an unknown Pamphobeteus species. The majority of the Pamphobeteus kept by keepers are not described at the species level, and many of them look practically identical anyways. For example, Pamphobeteus sp. "Machala" describes an unknown Pamphobeteus...
