MM OBT LOOSE IN MY BEDROOM. BEHAVIOR???

I believe he would be attracted, as moist sub would hopefully mean a burrow with a female.

    B Smithi sling not eating

As others have said, dry sub, cork bark hide and a water dish. Heat mat not required unless you get sub 20 degrees C in you room. Overflow the dish occasionally as slings need more humidity but don't go crazy as it's a dry species. With my small slings I crush the heads of dubia nymphs, they...

I feed my guys 3-4 times a week, they molt fine. They also get nice and chunky. As Paul said, they will stop when close to a molt.

MM OBT LOOSE IN MY BEDROOM. BEHAVIOR???

Maybe he might be so stressed from the ordeal he will hunker down and not go searching for ladies straight away? Any chance you can sleep elsewhere for the night as I guarantee you won't be able to sleep know he's around, I know I'd struggle. But hopefully he'll turn up when he starts to wander.

    New additions!

Went to my local reptile shop a few days and I had to do it... I got a 1.5cm Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens sling and a fat little 1cm Brachypelma boehmei sling and I'm in love! They eat very well and are doing great. The little GBB has a little web castle going and it has such a good appetite...

Why are some OW T's called 'Baboons'?

Probably a stupid question but I've always wondered; why are some OW T's know as 'baboons'? Where'd the name come from? And what does a species have to have to be nicked named one?

    N. chromatus feeding question

Noted thank you, and no it was half it's size it's no way near an adult locust. Only reason I use locust is that my reptiles and other T's have them.

Hi again, sorry for another post! I have a N. chromatus, only got her yesterday. Confirmed female and she's around 8cm DLS. I've heard it's ok to feed T's even if they've just arrived, so I thought I'd try feed her along with my other T's and I put the locusts on my rubber tongs and gently...

    GBB Sling care

Hi guys, I have picked up a GBB sling, around 1.5cm so no too small. I have put it in a small deli cup with lots of dry coco, a hide and small water bowl. Do i need to overfill the bowl and wait for it to dry out or do I just keep only the water bowl full? Also feeding, it eats well but can...
