    100 most threatened species list

It is unfortunate that any theriphosidae is endangered. Thrigmopeous truculentes was one of my first spiders, VERY awesome. I know there are a few old timers in here who still have these. PLEASE breed if you can............I know there are limited specimens.

FINALLY Got a Female Euathlus sp. "Red"!

I have two adult females and a wee sling. I would pay handsomely for a penultimate male or recently matured male. Anyone got one?

    Euathlus Sp. "Red"

I know I have two adult females and a wee sling that has yet to molt in my care after many months. I need a mature male if anyone knows where to find one, I have a feeling it might be. I have not had much luck finding one.

    Not only getting 1 Euathlus spec. "fire" / "red" / "flame"...but 4 ;)

I have three adults. One died, one is a female that just molted, and I need to check the other one which I am pretty sure it is a female also due to its size and no hooks. I also have a very small sling that has not molted in the three months that I have had it. I have a feeling I am going to...

How do you keep your tarantula's tank cool in the summer time?

My temps. during the day in summer can reach 95+ in my invert/laundry room. That room is not air conditioned. I dont have any problems, I just make sure they always have access to water.

    Pede ID please.

New Mexico is pretty lax on their laws. You can ask if you are curious though. I dont know of any restrictions as long as they are not protected species which as far as inverts go there are very few here.

    Saw this today.

I am thinking maybe wolf spider, probably Hogna species. I have seen some here that vary in color with mature males being very leggy and dark.

    B.lateralis - Not a single adult male

I have noticed this with my colony. I dont know if the adult males are dying off because of shorter lifespans than the females or what. In the spring and summer months when it warms up they have always recovered when large nymphs molt into mature males IME.

    scolopendra hardwickei,,,,,

I am in awe of the size of that pede. Was it wild caught? I may not be the only one, but it seems to me that wild caught inverts have the potential to get quite bigger than captive bred.

My very first T was a P. murinus adult female. After figuring her out I could handle most anything. She taught me well.
