Okay I was just worried if i should just leave her alone until she opens it herself but she doesn't ever come out. I'll be feeding her tonight thanks for the help.
I'm having the same issue with my A. Seemani He went into his hide early winter and I haven't seen him since he filled the entrance...
Ever since I transferred my P. Muticus into a taller enclosure she has dug a cave and closed the entrance and hasn't been seen since. I know this is a normal thing for these T's but its so sad because shes is such a beautiful spider. Any tips for feeding? i don't exactly know how to approach...
with pokies you can actually tell by their colors males tend to be more dull while females have the trademark pokie patterns and colors. Not sure if their male/female colors show this young or if its only MM or MF but it's good info to have.
I'm gonna guess you stuff them with cotton balls and use gel Super Glue to seal them off with a dish soap and warm water solution to make them bendable?
Thank you all for your comments, opinions, and help. I just thought it would be a good idea and wanted opinions wasn't really thinking about anything on the technical or modern standpoint. In my opinion it would bring more traffic to the tarantula hobby and business for arachnoboard breeders.
Does anyone else think arachnoboards should have an IPhone/Android app? That would be the best thing ever! Push notifications for replies and messages and a whole section for pictures and stuff. Who can I contact to make this a thing and where can I donate?!
I think he might be going into pre-molt even tho he's still eating. But it was a drastic change. He hasn't come out of his hide in a week or so and before he went in he was browning gray and today his abdomen was pretty big and he was really dark I've had him for about 3 months and he hasn't...
My A. Seemanni has been brown since I’ve got him every picture I have every video he’s brown. He doesn’t leave his hide much except to drink or when he’s hungry so when I saw him out this and about this morning even tho I just fed him two nights ago I got excited. I looked at him and immediately...
Wow that's impressive. I have a similar tank setup for the lats except for the heating pad and shelves i feed them orange cubes grain free dog food and occasional potatoes and fruit.
None of my T's are big my biggest being a little over 3 inches I've only been in the hobby for about 3 months so Lats are perfect for my collection. I have an A. Seemanni, a B. Vagans, a P. Muticus, and 5 N. Chromatus going from largest to smallest.
You sir are hilarious however I hate crickets with every fiber of my body between maintenance, noise, and growth rate I'm so happy I have lats now I just gave my crickets to my lizard and let him eat.
