I've recently had a male for a few weeks but after many introductions, there was no successful pairing. They would come together and touch after much courtship but eventually the male would simply walk away. IMO not the best species to begin with :)

This happens quite a lot and is probably a quirk of captivity. Secure surroundings, lots of food and water - basically the ideal place to raise the young ones :) Get yourself a male if you can!

Try raising the temp and flooding the tank with water for a few weeks - may induce it to moult...
