Once I reached sexual maturity I stopped caring about anything else and now I wander about blindly seeking love. I'm also more likely to be eaten by a bird tho.
So dispite telling myself I only want one T I've been feeling enomored with Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens... which is described as "semi-arboreal". I've searched a bit about semi-arboreal setup and have found nothing. I assume you just set it up with space to climb as well as space to crawl and...
I want to replace the game rock with a real one- this one came with a fake plant that took up too much room.
Any suggestions? I want to be sure her habitat is perfect for her well being.
Thanks guys- I'll bake the substrate dry and add a few more inches. I don't have a timeframe on this -I wanted the enclosure to be safe and aestheticly pleasing before I jumped the gun. I'm only planing on the one spider so I want it to be as nice a home as possible.
Right, right. I've got more of the stuff in a Tupperware thing-what's a good way to dry it? Leave it in the sun or just wait? I had to soak it because it came in a brick.
Heya. I'm setting up an enclosure for my first tarantula; planning in it being an aphonopelma chalcodes I think.
I just wanted to check if the substrate had enough depth or not. I can add more pictures if needed.
My friend drank a lot when her boyfriend broke up with her. Help your coleoptrata move on with its life and let it know being alone isn't that terrible.
