I did get it from TarCan. I think it may have been looking for a warmer spot (before I turned the heat on for them) and found the little hole in the cork bark.
UPDATE: Little Rhonda is indeed in the cork bark. Ran a cricket leg near the hole and she came out to get it. Thank you for all the help I'd never be able to keep T's without the advice I have gotten here.
I've only ever given it pieces of mealworms or cricket legs because it is so small.
Thanks for the help. I rummaged around the substrate to no avail but noticed a little hole in the cork bark that could be a cozy spot. Going to watch the cork bark closely before poking around and possibly interrupting a molt or injuring the poor little thing.
I haven't seen my 1/4 inch Ami sp. Columbia sling for about 6 weeks and haven't seen any signs of life from the enclosure for about a month. After reading about pet holes not being seen for long periods of time I wasn't alarmed at first. But all the offered food is still in the same position...
I'm a little late to this thread but after reading through it I have a question. About what size do B. Schroederi darken? Mine has a tan/gold carapace at 2.5 inches and its legs are a brown/grey.
My LP sling is molting right now. I got to watch it flip over and had been watching it for about a half hour when my boyfriend got home from work. He wears steel toed heavy construction boots and the floor vibrates when he walks across the floor in those boots. As I was watching the molt he...
I met my boyfriend on a dating app 4 years ago but before I met him I messaged a man that had a T on his shoulder in his profile pic. I was somewhat arachnophobic (still am) but it was the part he filled out about himself that caught my eye not what was in the pic with him. His message back to...
OP ever though of a "Pet Psychic"? Then you would know if Wellenough wanted to be held. A friend of mine took her cat to one and said it helped them live more peacefully together.
Hopefully this is a cute thing and nothing to be alarmed about (searched and found nothing) but my C. Versicolor sling must *MUST* do 4 laps around the enclosure before taking a meal. I drop the cricket (crushed head) in and the sling slowly walks to the side and does 4 laps before grabbing the...
Last night I had a dream that I was nominated for the Oscar in T's for inventing something that got T's to molt whenever you wanted. It was essentially a bamboo placemat that you roll your T up in and as you unrolled it the T molted. But I didn't want to mount my T alive to accept the Oscar so...
