I also have one of these, even though he is shy but it's only been 6 days and he is really used to us. I can even pick him up and he will uncoil in seconds when before he NEVER uncoiled unless I buried him myself.... Really beautiful species too. Love these cute lil things!
So I have a simple question about Millipedes..
Is it a female if the legs are missing on the 6-7th segment or does that mean its a male? I think it means male but I saw other Millipedes being called female with the legs missing.... I'm so confused...
Honestly, why would people do such a thing? Just because something LOOKS nasty on the outside, it doesen't mean it is nasty on the inside. That centipede would not want to come in contact with people at all. I just hate some people.... killing a life just for your own pleasure is just...

I have 2 Madagascan Ringed Millipedes , a Red Fire and a Burmese Beauty, but the Burmese Beauty I have not seen ever since I got them (6 days ago) and I have only seen one Ringed.
