Hey guys, so this thing basically fell out of the air on one of my books. I thought it might be a silverfish....but I'm not sure. Can you guys maybe ID this guy for me please? It was found in South Africa if it helps... Thanks in advance Amateur

Doesn't look like there is an orb web... Sorry, I'm not that good with true spiders. But now that I googled it, it is a Theridiidae. Just thought that the arrow marking was kinda interesting...

I found this guy in a corner outside my house. It has this arrow marking on the abdomen (Picture attached). Any thoughts on what specie it could be?

Do you think I should rehouse Her? The top is completely webbed and I'm not sure how to give a source of water. And she started to explore/ web under her original webbing... Almost like a new layer or something. Below is a pic of the top that is webbed and how big she is...

UPDATE: I have seperated the mother and the babies. There are 60 baby centipedes!!! Believe it or not.:eek:

Congrats, centipede moms are one of the best caring mother animals i've seen I think my mother centipede made a tunnel sort of thing, just so that they have a plan B to go to if they get scared etc

When can you seperate baby centipedes from their mom? Her babies just got their colour and it looked like they were ready to eat, although they are with the mom in the day. PS: I think there are like 15-20 of them.
