My first time breeding tarantulas seemed to have turned out pretty good. Can someone with experience let me know if this was a good pairing? I saved the male and will pair again if needed. Any advice helps. Thanks.
I’ve only had it for 4 days. It was tiny when I bought it. It’s already eaten 2 medium crickets. I fed it and gave it some water. It looks a lot better than it did when I got it on Wednesday.
I read lots of posts on it. When I attempted to make the holes the iron went all the way through since I pushed a little too hard. I’m probably just gonna put it back in the old enclosure and wait until the next molt. The carapace is larger than the holes it’s just barely bigger though. Thanks...
just rehoused my obt and was wondering if I might of made these holes in the enclosure too big. What do you guys think? Should I put it back in the other temp enclosure and wait for another molt?
That’s my understanding as well. Just was looking for advice on it. I probably should just wait and see how big they really are in person. He said all over 2” so we will see how much over that they are. Really excited though.
Im picking up 4 juvies around 2”+ Friday. Was wondering if a 18x18x12 exoterra wouldn be to big for them. I don’t want to give them too much room but I also don’t want to rehouse if I don’t have to. Do you guys think that’s to much space? I could get the 12x12x12 but I feel when they are adults...
