You butchered it a little bit, A. nasatum.
P. hoffmannseggi is from Spain. It's care is similar to other Spanish Porcellio. You'll need a mostly dry bin with one moist end and good ventilation. As they're a large species start them off in a good sized bin, something around 15-16 quarts. All...
Isopods will eat wood so if mopani is only wood they have access to that's what they'll use. If you put a rotten piece of oak, maple or any hardwood and a similar sized piece of mopani beside it I think you'll find mopani isn't their preferred choice
You don't need to bake leaves or pieces of wood used in isopod bins. Just let it air dry till no moisture left. I have 25 species and 60ish containers of isopods from 16oz deli cups up to 34qt bins. I don't bake anything.
Really depends on species for non burrowing Spanish Porcellio I use 2"...
As far as Spanish Porcellio go, sp. Sevilla has been the easiest and most prolific one I keep. Mostly dry bin withl moist end, screen lid, bark and wood for hides and leaf litter.
The isopod in your first pic by itself is Porcellio spinicornis. I keep spinicornis and have 3 bins of them. As for keeping them, all my colonies are kept like Spanish Porcellio. Most of bin is dry with one moist corner. Some bark and wood for hiding under and a good layer of dried leaves.

I've established O. asellus "maple" from wild caught. I found a group of 7 to start with. I'm also working on another color morph of asellus that started with 2 WC males. Here's a link to my first post on them http://arachnoboards.com/threads/orange-oniscus-asellus.302710/
The picture you posted is an orange calico P. scaber. Calicos come in 3 colors orange, yellow and red. Sounds like you almost had a red calico. I have a bunch of orange and yellow calicos. I've never seen a red calico.
One thing you'll want to know if you catch some to start breeding. Only...
I have yet to acquire a C. acosta and haven't kept a vinegaroon, so don't have any personal experience with either species. The reason i decided on the C. acosta as my next purchase is because of my background raising dart frogs. I have plenty of tiny feeders which will be useful for the C...
Thanks for the comments. Since I'm from Canada, isopod species available are limited. It was great finding all these different color morphs in the bin.
