They did. I had bought a few more "discoid" nymphs and there were a few dubia in there. My concern is that they've been molted adults for over a couple of months so I'd like to know of there is any possibility of accidental inter-species breeding.
I know this is an old thread but I'm hoping to find peace of mind here. A few months ago I bought some new discoid nymphs from my local shop. They looked odd but I figured utt was just new blood giving it a slightly skinnier appearance. When they started molting I knew they were not discoids...
Thanks for the help guys. I may just release them all after they leave her back. I was considering keeping some but they're so tiny I can barely see them. I'm good with my one big one :)
I don't know if I have posted here about the wolf spider I caught a month or two ago, but that happened. It turned out that she was gravid and has been in her burrow with the egg sac for some time...until this morning. When I went to check on her she was standing out in the open with tons of...
I have 2 roses. One burrows and makes his webbing underground. The other wonders the ground and Dallas and has his web hammock set up on the surface. I think it's just the spiders personality or preference.
Like live action. I saw him doing a weird butt wiggle and I looked around the other side of his enclosure and sure enough, white droplets squirting out. It lasted for like a second so I couldn't video. I just felt like i had to share this experience with someone XD
I had posted here yesterday about my GBB sling molting. It looked really clean but he was still next to the molt. This afternoon I went to pull the molt and one toe was stuck. I didn't want to force it so I pulled the tongs away but it was sticking to the tongs too. after some gentle tugging the...
My GBB just mooted. It's funny too because I just posted a pic from this afternoon and posted about how she was going to burst very soon. Just got home and bam!
Those rocks were in there for aesthetics for that picture, though I did leave them in for a while because they are light. However they are not in there still. Also they are not sharp. Very smooth gems. But i appreciate the concern :) i would recommend the same thing myself.
Ok so I made a post last earlier this week about having rehomed all my T's that weekend. Well today is the first day I've fed the roses since then and one of them did this crazy maneuver.
It's a small KK and he has webbed up to the top vent on the side, also layering it with substrate from...
He sounds awesome. My dad is that way. He acts all tough and stoic, but he's the biggest softy. It's because he really wanted them that he bought all my reptiles and the one tarantula for me. He's the whole reason I'm even with this hobby in the first place.
UPDATE: @Caseyface, Upon further...
:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious: omg I'm dead. Nothing will make my day bad now haha. The closest story I have to that is when I was massaging a client (I'm a massage therapist btw) and a little itsy bitsy spider started floating in front of my face. He was strung from the ceiling lowering...
