Got lucky and took a shot of the C. lividus (seems to have a 0.2" carapace) meanwhile the P. murinus has a 0.12" carapace but the Pic I took is bad. I re-did the holes and now they are 0.04" wide
Merry Christmas to everyone, before I wanted to say that my Pterinochilus murinus RCF is fine. However since the substrate was too dump I decided to rehouse it and my other sling (Cyriopagopus lividus) in a bigger container of size 3.5"x2.3"x2.3". I made holes with 0.12" of size, but are they...
I got it as a gift very recently from a keeper that thanked me for an Expo I organized in my town. I used to have some NW adult/juvenile species but this is my first time with a spiderling , it seems fine and is rebuilding its web, also I created more holes for ventilation. I'll change sooner...
@viper69 @vancwa Ops I'm sorry you're right, I didn't post them before because with the phone it were saying me that the size was too big despite compressing them
My Pterinochilus murinus RCF escaped from the container and felt from the top of the container into the substrate losing a leg. During a second time it felt again while webbing landing on the spinnerets. The distance between the top of the container and the substrate is 1.2 inches, should I worry?
Tried feeding him with a Dubia but he refused it. He's pretty active thou. Dubia grabbed him at some point, I know frog skin is very thin but could a Dubia injury him?
I placed a vertical cork trunk for my 0.1 Heteroscodra maculata to make her make a tubular den, but she instead built it horizontally along the wall, should I move her?
Mine is a one year old male, I opted for another tank instead of that, regarding food how much should I feed him and should I also add Ca and Ca+D3. I keep B. dubia and T. molitor as food for now (new to buy a new stock of B. lateralis)
@viper69 @Smotzer @AmbushArachnids Just one question: does she have to spend a long time with his mouth in a bowl of water because I often find it far from the bowl? Excuse my insistence, I just don't know if he can stay without drinking even one day in this state (I always make her find water...
@Smotzer @viper69 @AmbushArachnids I put another water cap, like you said the only thing I can do is wait and hope. She's still very weak, but at least she moves. I hope she'll recover. Generaly how much time they need to recover?
@viper69 @Smotzer IMPORTANT UPDATE! I found her in a different zone where I left her and with nearly all the leg opened minus two. Do you think she's recovering? What should I do now?
She kinda moved her legs in a weak and weird way thou
