haha...I typed in H. Kimurai into google and it pulled up a bunch of Brock Lesner wrestling images. Yes, their spinnerets are located ventrally on the abdomen. The same holds true for my Cyphonesia and Idiopids (not sure if they are Gorgyrella or Ctenolophus)...and my Sicarius sp.
Yes, they were sold to me as L. Ornatus. the three are similar, but are varied in size. I'll be observing and keeping you all up to date as I record anything of note.
Thanks Ambly! I received my first shipment last night and housed them. All three made their traps, and of course didn't put them in what I saw as prime real estate...The last two pictures are from this morning and show the smallest who built his/her trap on top of a log.
