Centruroides gracilis Florida baking scorpion Molting

Thanks! I found three P. Imperator at my LPS a couple days ago but they were super expensive. I remember when as a kid they were a dime a dozen.

    Say hello to stoom pei

Interesting. Will it get a tail after molting do you think?

Centruroides gracilis Florida baking scorpion Molting

Pretty new to scorpions, but am already facinated to the extreme. Just got this little critter and it molted the evening I brought it home. Couple random photos of my other two; A. Australis and H. Arizonensis Enjoy!

Exoterra breeding boxes or 5.5 gallon tank?

I guess I would still prefer the breeder boxes over the critter keepers, but the critter keepers are a bit more affordable.

Exoterra breeding boxes or 5.5 gallon tank?

Little bit of a late reply, but I currently use the exo breeders for a number of Ts. I like them, but the catch on the little clear plastic door (I call it the feeder door) breaks eventually. The plastic just wears out with multiple opening of the door. It is a poor design IMO. You have to...

    Possible ant mimic and jupmer

    Liphistids!

haha...I typed in H. Kimurai into google and it pulled up a bunch of Brock Lesner wrestling images. Yes, their spinnerets are located ventrally on the abdomen. The same holds true for my Cyphonesia and Idiopids (not sure if they are Gorgyrella or Ctenolophus)...and my Sicarius sp.

    Liphistids!

Yes, they were sold to me as L. Ornatus. the three are similar, but are varied in size. I'll be observing and keeping you all up to date as I record anything of note.

    Liphistids!

Thanks Ambly! I received my first shipment last night and housed them. All three made their traps, and of course didn't put them in what I saw as prime real estate...The last two pictures are from this morning and show the smallest who built his/her trap on top of a log. All three are in...
