@Leila it's probably my picture. I took it with my phone because I never really know when she'll be going up the sides. I did check into a molt though, and it had 2 sacs. Is that a girl?

You're a hero! I also rescued my T. Someone threw her in a dumpster, enclosure and all... and we're in Alaska!!! I brought her home and now she's mine. ^_^

How can you tell between boy and girl? Mine molted about a month back, but I don't know how to decipher a molt yet. :(

Thanks for the tip. I read somewhere that spiders don't drink, but instead get all their liquids from their prey. Apparently, this might not be true (according to your post?). I do sometimes overflow the water dish, but I need more substrate around there to keep her happier. She loves staying...

I don't know about you, but I've been noise conditioning my Tarantula, and she knows she's going to get food when J make a certain noise. she also notices when I get into her tank and mess her "room" up by cleaning the water dish or picking up used feeders. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like...

She was actually an abandoned orphan. I took her home and rescued her. Just couldn't say no to that super fuzzy face.
