  1. Vial Creatures of the Hairy Mob District

Review by 'Adenovirus19' on item 'Vial Creatures of the Hairy Mob District'

Scott is awesome! Even text'd me once he couldn't get ahold of me on AB. He loves his spiders. I was super impressed that he asked if he could watch my purchase through her pre-molt and molting process. He sent her only after she was able to again take down prey. The welfare of his Ts...

Thanks!!! Awesome. What do you plug the larger hole with? Sorry to pick your brain, but it looks like you have thought of everything.

What one tip would you pass on to new T keepers that you almost never hear about here?

Research is great, and a must for beginners and intermediates....But I agree with CB: NOTHING compares to experience. Of course, the only way to get experience is to begin and deal with inevitable mistakes.

    New tarantula!!!!

Groot is cute. GBB for me. I love its personality. It webs a lot. And hides from me not. I think its the best T that I got.

    I. Mira Keepers! (Poss Emergency?)

Good luck finding her. You have given me, at least, a lot to think about. (How the heck would I move my T collection!) It may be a weak point, but I have been amazed at how many "disasters" that appear on AB turn out to be miraculously OK in the end. May yours be another surprise good...

OK so I panicked when I saw my Chilean on her back. I wasn't fully awake yet and I flipped her over.

Kim Cook: This reminds me a lot like medicine. Even though it is painful, and no one wants to be scrutinized, sharing your experiences when things don't go well is insanely beneficial to the rest of us and usually teaches us about important information. For example, you have heard from some...

    Am I a Brachypelma auratum?

Pardon me while I kiss some butt: Cold Blood, your posts are always informative and are intuitively spot on for me. If you ever get the time, with all of your practical knowledge, consider writing a book. I'd be first in line!!

Excellent pic Flexzone. She let you hold her like that? I am green with envy.

    Genus Caribena

Might be a good idea to refer to ColdBlood's post in the "A. Versicolor sling housing questions" post.

    A. versicolor sling housing questions

Agree with Trenor. Nice set up. Your sling/Juvi should love it. The water dish can be an issue. A nice pair of tongs should help.

    A. versicolor sling housing questions

24 hours on the glue gun should be adequate. The air holes look fine--but consider an upside down enclosure. You may be disturbing your slings webbing by taking off the top of the deli cup lid. Good luck. Congratulations on your new arboreal sling!

Hi all, Like many of you, I have a T-addiction. Step 1: admit I have a problem. Step 2: Admit I cannot control it. Step 3: give it up to a higher power (my friends on Arachnoboards) Actually, my favorite spider was my first: A. Calcoides 4 inch female I got from Ken the Bug Guy. I...
