For something that is supposed to be 1 of the worst stings in the scorpion world these things are such big <edit> 😂. Everyone of them runs away from food unless it’s pre killed.
1 and 2 are male.
pics of 3 and 4 are too blurry to tell.
Pics of 5 and 6 appear to be female but on 6 the pics are also blurry not 100% but 90% on female.
Male pectinal counts on L.q's are 31-38 and females are 26-29. Hopefully this helps :)
Good Luck and happy keeping
Cheers
Eric
Definitely male
But you can't just go off pectinal tooth count alone due to the overlap in counts
Males 38-50
Females 34-45
The males lack the
Proximal Medial Lamellae
that are present on females
Pic are of P. villosus but can also be used for MOST Parabuthus species. But can be used to...
Roy is good dude who cares about his scorpions and his customers. The scorpions showed up in probably the best packaging I've seen yet, all of them were plump, lively and active. I highly recommend buying from him and I look forward to doing business with him again.
Very Satisfied !!!!!!
Like stuffy said photo is a little blurry I can't get a count but from the second pic it looks female to me. It seems to have a more broader body than that of a male. Try to get better pics of the pectines if possible and I'll be able to accurately sex it
