Sexing Leiurus Quinquestriatus
1 and 2 are male. pics of 3 and 4 are too blurry to tell. Pics of 5 and 6 appear to be female but on 6 the pics are also blurry not 100% but 90% on female. Male pectinal counts on L.q's are 31-38 and females are 26-29. Hopefully this helps :) Good Luck and happy keeping Cheers Eric- Rugg the bug man

Definitely male But you can't just go off pectinal tooth count alone due to the overlap in counts Males 38-50 Females 34-45 The males lack the Proximal Medial Lamellae that are present on females Pic are of P. villosus but can also be used for MOST Parabuthus species. Help me to determine sex please.
Like stuffy said photo is a little blurry I can't get a count but from the second pic it looks female to me. It seems to have a more broader body than that of a male. Try to get better pics of the pectines if possible and I'll be able to accurately sex it- Rugg the bug man
