@Moakmeister Substrate is 5-6 inches deep in the opposite side where her hide is (which she ignored) and slopes down to about 2" on the water dish side.

Nhandu coloratovillosus... thanks, now I have to reread care sheets. Lol. I believe you though, because he is very defensive and quick to kick hairs.

@Trenor thanks. Just wanted to make sure because he was already on tip toes away from substrate before I fed him. Just very odd posture. Him being just rehoused, I was worried the substrate was too soft for him (coco fiber). And he totally ignored his rwady made hide and dug a hole under the...

@YagerManJennsen a friend gave it to me since he was moving to an apartment and they do not allow his furry friends. He told me it was brazilian white knee so I took his word for it. He mentioned it was due a molt soon but hasn't shown any signs yet.

I've seen the happy dance, but not this long... been almost 10 minutes before I left him be. Here's a short video. Lol.

    A geniculata

He still has a dubia in his mouth and he raised high on his feet rubbing his but on the substrate and moving in circles. Is this happy dance, thickening substrate, molt prep? Not sure.

If you get the right angle of light, the green/blue tinge on her black legs really show after this molt. I took pictures in the process of rehousing. Black without light Blue-green with flash

Hmmm... interesting. She took the dubia right off the tong so I think she is fine, she molted about 2 weeks ago and has been a good eater (every 3-5 days 1 large cricket), third meal now, but still looks skinny. I huge bark is next to that plant so only time will tell. I was apprehensive...

I got this enclosure from another friend, but I believe they are from Jamie's tarantulas. This is a 3 year old female, I say subadult about 4.5 inches. Yes, it is a terrestrial enclosure but I wanted to give her the option of either arboreal or terrestrial since OBTs are known to adapt to...

    P Murinus rehoused

I just rehoused this beauty and gave her the option to be either arboreal or terrestrial. Her previous enclosure was terrestrial and made a thick tunnel mixed with substrate with only her toes sticking out/visible. This time she looks like wanting to be arborreal.
