Only been bit by small channel. I think big blues are terrible with their teeth and the way they chew on your hand. I love noodling it's not legal in Colo so I go to Southeast Kansas.
Never by a T. 1 Gator bite in 12 years. Have done some SI with western diamondbacks so I'm not super concerned by T venom I just don't like getting bit by anything other than catfish.
I don't think the lucys with the brown patches all over look good. The pied are pretty neat I have several friends with them. Some cute some pretty ugly lol.
Yea bro they can get a lactic acid build up. That's why we never work them to exhaustion like some others do because it can kill them. We like to quick catch when we can to avoid them getting injured or dying from it.

I love working with these animals. We had 5 at one point but one came in really sick. The other died when the den she was digging collapsed on her and she drown. But these 3 are doing awesome 1.2 and hopefully will breed this year.
Remove from cage and clean. Never change water when snake is in cage. A coworker got tagged by a sidewinder when we was in a hurry once. He had to crofab but is fine.
