I was actually just wondering if moving a gravid female would be detrimental or not. Perhaps it would be better to just get a pair and do the breeding myself? Do you have any brands of enclosure you prefer? I'm not very handy or I'd just make my own. I've seen some stunning forest vivariums...

They've been doing great so far! I've only lost one, and it was the worst off when I found them. I've been cataloging their progress and I'm releasing them once the weather is warm again. It's dropping to nearly freezing at night again :meh: The worst off ones (about 6) will stay until molting...

Well great. :arghh: I was so sure they were both female as they've looked entirely the same up until now. The two pictures are the same cockroach, just a week between the two. Maybe I'll be lucky and the other one will decide to sprout horns as well :meh:

Oh, he was shipped in one of those. I could just put him in there then! Oh yes, he's made a big burrow and cavern down at the bottom. Very active little thing!

The container was labeled for terrestrial so I figured it was ok :jawdrop: He's just a little thing. Maybe 1/2 inch or so.

So, while giving my b.albo sling his nightly pinhead lat for dinner, I somehow managed to stick my finger through the little mesh circle at the top of the enclosure. :banghead: I pushed the mesh back into the groove, and while I've never seen him anywhere outside his burrow, I'm entirely...

Oh yes, I despise mites. I've had to deal with them in almost every critter I've ever had, at some point or another. All of those were mammals, though. Such a pain to get rid of :banghead:
