and majority of the care sheet i see says to put peat moss and vermiculite in the substrate is it required?? coz i dont have...
bout the CO2 method why not try putting the specimen in a jar with holes then put the jar in a container or a tub with tight lid then put vinegar and baking soda in the container then mix and seal the container ... but i dont know how much too put in when it comes to inverts i only use CO2...
so i did a little google search and this is the first link that pop out ?? is this advisable??

i think the cooling down he is talking about is putting it in a cold environment forcing it to hibernate or move sluggishly work with other inverts but...
do they eat every pieces of their shed skin ??? i watch a nat geo documentary about centipede and they do eat their skin but idk if they eat every last drop of it

my r.longipes has that kind of segment too right at the center i think its just a little miscoloration i have him for a month in that situation i see no bad signs and for the antenna i saw mine doing it after flicking mist or while in the water dish maybe thats how they drinks water not sure tho...
scorp will stop eating if its full but dont feed it too many in a single serve spread it out in a week
what everybody teach me here is that for
young ones 2-3 meal a week not more than half the body of the scorp
adults once or twice every 7-14days
but 10 crickets in 2 days that a whole month...
bentonite would be good for forest/humid enclosure coz it absorb too much water and expand when wet like a sponge but that could be a double edged sword coz thats a good breeding ground for fungus
