Comment by 'Latrotoxin' in media 'Wild Brazilian - What species?'

More than a little dangerous. The nigriventer and the fera are extremly toxic. This is absolutely a Phoneutria species, and I would lean towards the nigriventer. Beautiful spider, but be careful!

Comment by 'Latrotoxin' in media 'Please help Id this T pic 2'

There is absolutely no way that this is a G. grossa. I agree with Anastasia. It is definately a Phormictopus species. Oh and michaelcb, I think you need to take your own advice and use your google toolbar. This looks nothing at all like a G. grossa. If you don't know, don't post. :shame...

Comment by 'Latrotoxin' in media 'unknown tarantula/wolf type spider'

This is a Lycosidae, not a Ctenidae. I believe it is a Hogna helluo adult female.

Comment by 'Latrotoxin' in media 'ID this?'

I agree. Looks to be a regalis. A shot of the underside though would help confirm that. Check to see if there is a tan band on the underside.

HELP! My. S. subspinipes centipede is infested

My Thai Giant(Scolopendra subspinipes) is being over taken by some kind of parasite. I am very concerned because I lost a 1" scorpion(B. jacksoni) to these same parasites. These things are small, I would guess in the ball park of 1/2 a millimeter. They are white/grey, are covering the first four...

Comment by 'Latrotoxin' in media 'avicularia ?'

Definately not an A. versi. If your A. versi looks like this, it's not an A. versicolor. I'm going to have to agree with those who said A. avic.

Comment by 'Latrotoxin' in media 'Please ID'

    G. rosea RCF I think, but that's a tough one. It looks just like the 2 RCF's that Ive got.

Looks like a P. fasciatum to me =) Kindda hard to tell sometimes, but Ive got a bunch of regalis's and this does not look like a regalis in my opinion.

Comment by 'Latrotoxin' in media 'Avicularia-something'

Its not an A. avic. I believe its to big. Its a Goliath Pink toe. A. braunshauseni I believe. They look pretty much identical, the A. avic just gets bigger.
