To add to everyone else, they should be fine. I have had packages delayed and the Ts were perfectly fine. Depending on the weather your seller likely included a heating or cooling pack, and it's much better for them to be inside a delivery center than lost in a mail truck. Keep us updated :)
Bought a female B. Hamorii and a female G. Pulchra from Daniel. Throughout the entire process he kept active communication with me. The carrier (FedEx) had some hiccups (not the seller's fault at all) and Daniel was proactive and worked with me to resolve the issues. Both spiders arrived safe...
I recently rehoused my A. Seemanni because her old enclosure didn't have as much depth as I would have liked. She now has 5" of substrate and refuses to burrow....
Purchased a female T. Vagans from Bryan. He kept open and active communication with me. She was originally intended to go out last week, but due to the backlog of FedEx packages she was sent this week instead. She arrived safe and sound and was very well packaged with heat packs. She is healthy...
I purchased a female A. Chalcodes from this seller 12/1/2020 and did not hear back for about a week. I sent an email out on 12/8/2020 and the seller responded within the hour and indicated that they had been sending me emails about the weather and how that impacted shipping. I think what...
After a mostly positive first experience with this seller, I purchased 2 female Ts on 12/1/2020 and asked that they be shipped 12/8/2020. The seller agreed and there was clear communication as to when they would be shipped. They were then mistakenly shipped 12/2/2020; I only found out because I...
Thanks for your response! I don't have any setup yet - I like to figure everything out before putting setups together for an animal, hence why I'm asking this question :)
Hello all! Planning to get P. imperator (or H. spinifer) as well as Hadrurus arizonensis in the next couple of months. For the clean up crews I am planning to get springtails/isopods for the imperator/spinifer and blue death feigning beetles for the arizonensis to clean up dead feeder remains...
I realize this is a little late, but mantis nymphs are prone to dying unexpectedly. You can try your best but some will still pass away - hence why so many of them are laid to make up for the high mortality.
It sounds like you're doing the best that you can and they're in good hands :) Don't...
Thank you very much!
They're very fun to keep and I love caring for them  I have 2 Ghost mantises, 1 Indian Flower mantis, and 1 Budwing mantis. Hopefully I'll be getting a few Spiny Flower mantises in the next few weeks/months!
Hi there, my name is Cleo, and I'm 99% new to this hobby. I'm 18 and own 4 darling mantises but would also like to get into arachnid keeping; I had a scorpion when I was in elementary school but he was the only arachnid I have ever owned and it's been quite a few years. I've come here to learn...
