    Can tarantulas hair fall out?

Well if she just ate then I'm not sure what it is, like TarantulaBella said 3 kicks can easily create a bald spot. Watch the abdomen color, if it turns dark or black it will molt soon after that.

    Can tarantulas hair fall out?

Could be a sign of molting since my lasiodora parahybana kicks all her hair off before a molt

    Beginner old world T?

So both of you have suggested an a ezendami I will look more into that. I understand the dangers of an old world and I think I can handle it. Like I said I don't intend to bother them other than to change substrate which is the only time I can see them attempting to escape or to bite *edit* all...

I have had my LP for 6 months and I'm looking for another T. I have no desire to hold poke or prod and tarantula unless it has escaped.

Thinking of either a Pterinochilus murinus or Cyriopagopus lividus. Any suggestions are appreciated. I was also thinking about getting a scorpion like the heterometrus.

    Cricket stuck in cage

New tarantula owner here had her for about 4 months and she molted about 2 weeks ago. I tried feeding her today and the cricket ran into her hide and I can't get it out without disturbing my T. Suggestions? Can I just leave it in there and hope she eats it?

    LP Molt

I would get a picture of her but her abdomen is facing to the entrance to the hide so you can't really see it.
