I currently have a scorpion, a tarantula and 3 hermit crabs. I think I just like the weird pets, or maybe because my boyfriend is allergic to everything else. Stupid question - do pedes climb glass?
granulated,
but it's claws has a wide stance while in defense mode
and it does have grooves in it's claws
my boyfriend saw a show about scorpions and swears it's an asian (although I didn't see the show)
i am unable to post pics, sorry, can't figure that out, never did
thanks for the info...
As for taking pictures through the glass, get close to the glass , but not too close. If your T is near the glass put your camera on macro (little flower), press the shutter button half way down (to focus on the T), then click. If your T is further, don't put on macro, but do press the shutter...
He may not be clawing around, he might be making himself at home. Circling the tank and spinning his carpet webbing. As for half death curl, they "sleep" too.
I purchased an "emperor" scorpion from some guy who bought it at the pet store. But as you all know, they are usually wrong on everything they say... lots of info shows it could be an asian forest scorpion.
Since both types can be social, can an emperor be put in an aquarium with an asian...
How does the winter months affect a T, in Moncton NB for the next couple of months it will be anywhere between -25C to 10C, during these months is it normal for a T to slow down and hide in it's burrow?
first think in the morning, or after work, by the cheap dirt (read label, no chemicals, no fertilizer, no plant food, no nothing, just dirt) or find the peat moss soil mix (it's dirt and peat moss - very dry once dry)
perfect mix actually has fertilizer in it, is that a good thing? i think if you could have gotten peat moss soil mix, it would be better, no added fertilizer in it (i work with this stuff every summer)
how many people think pinkies are a bad choice?
do meal worms dig in the dirt?
i don't think i can get roaches over here, we only have a handful of pet stores and they are all Pets Unlimited
i've had pinkies before, but they had a mother too, so no i never used pinky as food.
we feed our T atleest 4 crickets a week, i was just wondering if she's full will she refuse the pinky? (probably yes), so should i not feed her for a week before giving the pinky
I was thinking of feeding my almost mature T a pinky for the first time, just being cautious, but how long should we starve her before we give her a pinky? can we leave the pinky in there for a couple of days in case my g rosea hides in her burrow?
how many
hey problemchildx, how many Ts do you have? My g rosea is in the living room and i often play music in there, never noticed her react to it, although she has just finished her 2 month molt process.
everyone else... how many Ts do you have, and how many react to music?
