here is another photo, me and the seller were sure she didn't look Nicaraguan
if it is any consolation, I obviously will not pare them again if her being Honduran is the case, and will dispose of the eggs if layed. I am now hearing the seller isn't the most trustworthy despite his reviews(which...
i am very aware! i get pretty worried myself when i see people talk about crossbreeding. here are my male and female. i did notice that she had a darker carapace, but she definitely does not have the very distinct thick white hairs that a Nicaraguan has. (the male is the one pictured in the...
I am awfully sorry to anyone that felt this way. i am very sure that they are both honduran. i just didnt wild catch them myself, so thats why i said you can never be sure. i didn't mean to disregard any advice. i am very thankful for the replies i got. i am sorry if i dismissed them.
I...
i was very sure they were both honduran, you just never know no matter what theyre advertised as. i would like to stick to topic though. i did research but i did not find the answer to these specific questions. could someone help me out here?
yeah im aware theyre VERY blurry. if you check the picture on the original post you can see the male spider better. from what i get, B Albos are all sorts of bred together, so i just made sure i got a female that really looked like him. cant say whether hes honduran or Nicaraguan.
UPDATE: i have bought a female, and and have mated them once.
I'm not totally sure he lifted high enough to impregnate her.
i have some more questions now that ive gotten this far.
does he need to make a spermweb before each mating for a successful breeding?
also how many times do you...
Hey there!
my first T(B Albo) matured back in November. he is a gorgeous T and i'd love a bunch of babies to remember him by. but i have some questions and concerns i should get out the way before i get a mature female.
firstly, if i buy a female and get her shipped, how long should i wait to...
very nice guy, great communication. bought a B Albiceps sling and got a B Vagans sling free. both came in a very good mood(for a T haha) and obviously well treated and fed. very good job packaging them too! looking forward to doing more business in the future!
great experience for me, bought my first T from their, and he helped gibe me everything i needed(no less, no more). not sure about online ordering though.
The last time it was actually outside of its burrow was sometime in January. But the last time I saw it(from a bigger opening in the substrate) was probably around Valentine's day.
My probably around 3 in B Albo hasnt been fed in 2 months now because I can't figure out if he's molted or not. When we got him(new years eve), he was very plump, and most likely close to molting. But he's been completely burrowed, with only a opening at the very bottom of the enclosure, which...
Glad you replied, i love all your Araneaid videos! Anyway, We have him in a not so good enclosure we thought we could fill up with substrate more than we actually could, and as we were about to move him out in a better enclosure, the little T burrowed. He's 100% about molt going by the size of...
I recently bought my first T, a juvenile(they're about a year and a half old) Curly hair T, that is most likely male(still a little small for sexing). I'm curious how long B Albo's usually live? I've heard from various places 7 years, then 5 years, and then 3 years. Just wondering how long any...
