I was wondering I've done this setup for a Hadrurus arizonensis and I've used a desert sand and soil mixture so it can burrow. And I'm not sure do I need to mist it so the soil doesn't dry out I've also put a lair of sand on top.
@Rugg the bug man I will do man I'm thinking about a millipede possibly for the tank also I was wondering does anyone have any good setup ideas for the tank it's only 30x30x30
I used to have a desert setup for a veajous springarus a striped tail scorpion but unfortunately he passed away I'm thinking about a jumping spider a pair maybe cause I know there quite small
Would anyone be able to tell me what I could keep in this kind of setup it's a exo terra 30x30x30 I've got a small heat mat on the side I've used exo terra soil and moss I've got a piece of bark standing up with space behind it as a hiding spot any help would be great thank you
@Venom1080 I could also remove the moss at the kind corner bit at the left of the tank then add more substrate along the front are the hides okay or is there another type of scorpion who would like this setup
@Venom1080 I've read about the scorpion it says they usually only burrow if no hide is provide for them and my heat pad is on the side cause I won't have any room for a space heater could I wrap the screen mesh vent at the top with clim film to keep the humidity in
Not sure if this is ok for Asian forest scorpion. For the substrate I used Komodo coco fiber and sphagnum moss on top to cover some of the floor and a 14.4 watt heat pad on the side the tank is 45x45x45cm.
