Welcome to the hobby, and the forums! It won't take long until you have more ;-)
A GBB sling was T number 2 for me, following my A Geniculata. I always get them from slings; it feels really rewarding to take care of them and watch them grow. Enjoy!!
I thought the general rule for prey size was to provide something roughly the size of the abdomen, or smaller? That worm is probably a bit big - and could probably even harm your sling; morios can be quite bitey and your T is very delicate at this size.
Howdy folks,

Does anyone have any advice on getting them rehomed somewhere? I...
I started about 5 years ago with an A. Geniculata. I currently have ten, all of which I obtained as slings. Sadly a very beautiful OBT I had died as a juvenile, but the rest are all growing nicely!

As many others have said, your enclusure needs some work for the benefit of the spider. Start with the obvious: more substrate and a hide. These are bare minimums for a terrestrial...
I’m tempted to believe that fb post was part attention-seeking, part stupidity. I avoid fb groups like the plague because they’re often full of stuff, like this, which just enraged me.
Hi all! I'm Adam, 30, from the UK. I've been in the hobby for roughly 18 months, and in that time I've accumulated a collection of 10 tarantulas, all of which I bought as spiderlings and have been raising towards adulthood - haven't lost one yet, in either the sense of escaping or dying!
I've...
