And please dont assume new people on the forum are noobs to the hobby. It's incredibly frustrating to bring forth a legitimate question only to get answers like these...
She has two fully hardened black fangs. Her molt to feeding timeline was mentioned above... 16 days post before a meal. The bolus was removed 3 days ago which is why I'm not certain the spots are food related.
I have 20 years in the hobby; I've dealt with all the mites and fungus early on...
I may be freaking out over nothing but I could really use some input. My C. Cyaneopubescens was showing off those fangs today and I saw these three white patches. Any idea what it could be?
She's 22 days post molt; 6 days post meal.
I had made a fresh batch of substrate to freshen up some of my Ts so I figured I'd replace what was in her enclosure. I open the door and, as I'm scooping out the damn dirt, the little <edit> flips over! I dont replace what I had removed but slowly return the door and let it do its wiggly...
It has never mattered with him. He usually gets one appropriately sized meal two times weekly and has never finished a single cricket (when they're on the menu). I started tossing in a few extra cause I was worried he wasn't getting enough.
He's just a little shit! I think he's just finicky...
My GBB is a fantastic eater but he won't finish these damned crickets! He would rather eat half of 4 crickets; leaving their mangled parts for me to clean up. Roaches-cleans his plate. Mealworms-gone. Crickets-he acts like Goldilocks, too crunchy, too whatever.... weird crawlie!
Tarantulas are...

I don't mind holding out for a different T but I...
I've received the little-bitty (8x8x8) exo-terra enclosure and I'd like to use it for a juvenile terrestrial beastie.
The mesh top will be replaced with acrylic before anyone moves in.
My options are:
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
Grammostolas..pulchra or iheringi
Brachypelma smithi
I'm...
Nah, he's a keeper! It's more about space than anything. He's very minimalist: clean lines, no clutter, no dust. I'm more of a "let me see how much I can fit on this one teeny tiny shelf." Lol. Compromise keeps us happy. :D plus, he already put up with the countless other pets I bring home.
...that being said, I'm having trouble deciding which to add.
I've never had a Versicolor, and I want one.
I also really REALLY want an A. Purpurea.
My MM P. Metallica died about a year ago so I want another... or any P. truthfully. Maybe a Hati hati? Maybe a ......
How do you decide? How...
