Gravid and buried for 3.5 weeks

I just don't want her to stay in and eat all the babies. I'd like to try to keep some alive as long as possible. Edit: no, I'm not 100% sure. She was recently wild caught and the size I expected. Over time she got bigger and matched pictures of gravid Hairys.

Hadrurus pallidus - fat or gravid?

I've been feeding him/her 3-4 crickets every two weeks, each feeding spread over a few days. I just want to make sure I'm not over feeding, or ready as possible for babies. Thanks in advance!

I've seen a few tanks with false bottoms over a water source to regulate humidity. Ive considered putting a water dish on the bottom of the tank with a straw thru the substrate to add water.

    Over feeding a desert hairy

Thanks, it's a 20 gallon tank, the substrate ranges from 4-6 inches. I did put some upside down bread pans in the center to take up some space and to encourage his tunnels to be closer to he glass. He has dug in 3 or more inches under the rock in the picture. I used wet clay to help hold the...

    C. Sculpturatis tank setup advice

I noticed you are using a zoomed thermometer/humidity gauge, have you ever had any issues with it? I recent bought two, and the Temps read the same, but the humidity is different by 8-10 degrees. Is it just a cheap brand?

    Over feeding a desert hairy

I gust got my first scorpion, a desert hairy. The first night I feed him, he ate 5 medium crickets. the next day fed him 2 I left 4 more overnight and they dissapeared. So over 2 days he's had 10-12 crickets, is he just hungry? Will he ever over eat, or should I just feed him till he stops? Thanks!
