Great seller. The price was more than fair and he threw in a Bonus T. He held onto them for two weeks after we had completed the transaction due to something coming up and i couldn't receive them. As soon as i was ready for them i received them the next day and he paid extra shipment costs to...

Parasites! Coming out of Queen Ant! Never seen anything like it.

It's not a phorid fly, because they lay eggs in the heads of the ants. I am know leaning towards wasps. The parasitic speciec that insert eggs on caterpillars and live within the caterpillar.

Parasites! Coming out of Queen Ant! Never seen anything like it.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this or know what type of parasite it is? It's gross but interesting. We know it's a parasite since the queen lived with these inside her for quite a while before she died.

    How many is too many?

I agree, I have been in that situation with mantids, it was a pain in the a$$. Trying to get all them to eat, where it was consuming hours of my day everyday. I started neglecting some, and eventually gave up most of what I had. Although I keep tons of colonies of ants, never get sick of those...

    How many is too many?

Well, I would never let anybody tell me what I can and can't have, then yet again I'm not in a relationship. Whats his reason? From the average persons perspective 4 tarantulas would be quite a lot, but for some people here having 4 is like only having 4 ounces of a beer. I'd get him to agree to...

Can Anyone Tell Me a Bad Bite Story?

Does it have to be a arachnid... No? Ok One time I got my hand all chewed up helping a kitten stuck in a fence. :meh: Then I got stung by a wasp, which wasn't uncommon, but my leg swelled up twice the size of the the other... no seriously. It literally was twice the size. I know, lame stories...
