Yeah i can see your point. My water bowl in my tank is probably a bit on the large side, however it is rare i fill it up and even then i let it run dry, so the chances of the scorpion dying are probably quite small.
Hi all,
Recently purchased myself a H. Cyaneus and was wondering if you could tell what sex it is from the outside as i think (correct me if i'm wrong) they have sexual dimorphism. If this picture is no good, i can try and get a picture of it's underside. Thanks in advance :)...
I
have two hadrurus arizonensis, one male and one female, one brachypelma albopilosum tarantula, two g.rosea slings and one stromatopelma calceacum juvenile :p
I don't like it for that reason either. When it gets bigger I'd like to put it in an expo terra nano, measuring 20x20 base and 30 cm height , but I feel that's a bit too big for it at the moment.
Hi guys, upgrading my stromatopelma calceatums' enclosure, and I have the options of unvented, a 28mm vent or a 35mm vent. Any ideas which would be the best? The dimensions of the tank are 22cm height, and a 9x9 base. The tarantula is a 1.5 inch sling.
Everyone, this is NOT MY tarantula! I might be buying it over the weekend, and asked the person to send me a couple of photos so I can attempt to sex it. Hence the reason I posted a thread on the best conditions. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
