Hello! I'm just a fellow hobbyist who enjoys T's just as much as anyone. I will occasionally post some of my collection for sale. I have a desire to breed and contribute to the community / hobby.
If you need me, you can send me a text, email or PM me on the boards! Thanks.
These are great! I haven't made any myself since I don't currently have a dremel.. But I would totally love to do something like this for my arboreals.
I've used a few of Jamie's enclosures and I haven't had a problem out of them. I prefer deli cups, however there's nothing wrong with Jamie's enclosures.
Yes, T's missing legs can grow them back with the next molt or so. If the T is active and acts fine, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. As far as the enclosure goes, it is quite big and spoiling a T with a nice big enclosure can actually make it difficult for them to find food. Just...
No problem! This guy found a really cheap way to make awesome looking enclosures. Would be a shame for people not to see this! If you decide to go and pick some up to experiment with, be sure to post some updates! Good luck!
Sounds good buddy! Make sure the super worm doesn't burrow into the substrate. Those little boogers can get sketchy sometimes! Good luck with your T. Very nice looking. Your enclosure looks like it should be fine. Just add some fake plants and some more cork bark and it'll be as happy as ever.
You should think about putting more anchor points down for this type of T. He/She is a prolific webber and will web that enclosure up in no time. Try putting some cork bark and or branches in there so it can use it for anchor points.
Is this your first T you've owned? If so, it's very exciting, isn't it :)? To answer your question, you should feed it 2-3 crickets a week. With your T being in the "juvie" stage, you can ease up on feeding it a lot. You can get away with feeding it larger prey once or twice a week.
I've never seen this done before so unfortunately I can't offer much advice. This does sound interesting however so if you take the leap and do it, please post pictures and updates! Whether it works or not, I'm still interested in why it did or why it didn't work out. Good luck!
