    This is Roach

I had to rehouse Roach and figured I may as well take some glamour shots while I have it out of the enclosure.

@RezonantVoid Ahhhh, lucky, it seems to be a good place to obtain all of the things I enjoy, bahaha. I'm in the Northern US, so a lot of the finer species are scarce and we virtually have no chance of getting any kind of trapdoor spiders...

ISO a trap door spider and information about life expectancy

I have a Pelinobius Muticus tarantula and it's great, I think a real complimentary true-spider would be some kind of trapdoor spider. I'm looking for information relating to what anyone would think a great trapdoor species would be to keep and what their average life expectancy may be. Any help...

I went for a hike in Parfrey's Glen, Wisconsin and found a few spiders.

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify these wonderful spiders. I'm pretty confident in my ability to identify a family, but could use some help otherwise in the Genus and if I'm lucky species aspect. They look to be Theridiidae and Thomisidae. I have a hunch that the Thomisidae is of...

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could narrow down what spider left this molt? I was thinking Agelenopsis, but the layout of the eyes seems to point more toward some kind of Lycosidae, any ideas?

What brand or kind of alcohol do you use to preserve your True Spiders?

I have heard Ethyl and Isopropyl, anywhere from 70-80%, but I'd like some first hand accounts, any suggestions?

    Recommended P. Regalis Care/housing

Thanks for sharing! Do you think I could circumvent having a water dish in my enclosure by misting weekly? Or maybe dropping water on the side of the enclosure/wood or plants inside of it? I have a very very skinny enclosure for it right now, one of the tall 2x2x8's, so a water dish is near...

    Recommended P. Regalis Care/housing

Hiya, I haven't ever had this species before and was wondering what your routine is for feeding, misting (if necessary), temperature, etc. Mine is currently a 3/4" sling. Thanks in advance! - Goodrah

Anyone here use a microscope to look at spiders they've caught in the field?

I lit up a little bit when you mentioned AmScope, they must be reputable then, yeah? I was considering these two, any input or any advice as to which may be a better bang for the buck? I don't want to say money is no object, but I'd be willing to spend probably $50 dollars more than the more...

Anyone here use a microscope to look at spiders they've caught in the field?

Heya, I'm wondering if YOU have a microscope, and if so what kind? How much did it cost? I see a lot of use in getting a Stereo Microscope (dissecting scope) and have been looking at brands, but I want to get some first hand experience from people caught in the spider web. Any specific...
