I guess it is time for a new T report. Firstly, my other A. Genic sling passed. A mix of different reasons, but I am not griefed. My LP's are big and healthy as ever. P. Cambridgies are doing great, and are getting very big, as are the P. Rufilatas. Other T's are doing great. Also, my H...
Hey all. I havent posted in a while, but something exiting just happened. One of my H. Carolinensis females had been carrying around an eggsac for a while now, but guess what... it hatched! Lots of healthy babies, and a very defensive mother. I plan on probably selling most of the babies, which...
I think it was a mixture of dehydration and not eating. I fed it recently, but not misted. Just always keep your baby T's dirt damp, but dont directly spray them. Feed wvery day or so. I was just really busy lately and hadnt got around to it.
Unfortunately, one of the baby A. Gdnics has passed. Partly due to me being a beginner, and partly due to it being a baby. I am not sad, I understand that baby T's are very sensitive, and that is why I have more than one. The other babies are doing great, the P. Rufilata's are enjoying their...
So, 5 of the 6 tarantulas that I ordered have molted! the 2 P. Cambredgies, 2 LPs, and one A. Genic have all molted, and seem very happy. will kep you guys updated on my spiderling raising journey. Will try to get pictures up soon.
So, would you guys say that a Pokie is faster and more violent than Hogna and D. Tenebrosus? I own a couple, and they are EXTREMELY fast, and not very nice. They will jump a lot also.
I alresdy have 2 P. Cambredgies, which are starting to make nice little burrows. I am going to wait a while before getting any other pokies, and OWs. I want some P. Irmana slings. Is there anything else I could do to ladder step to more pokies and OWs? Thanks for all the advice, and none of it...
I have done some research, but I just wanted to ask to make sure it matched up. I was very ill-informed in the beginning, as I am sure most, if not all of you were. I rehoused my Avic in the right home, and have the care for her down. I have also aquired a few slings, and care for them is going...
I like Avics too, but I hear that they are very fragile, and hard to raise from a sling. I am thinking of getting some GBBs, and maybe a Versicolor, but I will have to do my research.
Any other reccomendations for the care on the pokies? I have their tanks humid, and they seem pretty warm, but I need to get some cork bark. Had one run up onto my arm, but luckily it was nice and let me wrangle it. I got their enclosures set up, and it should be good for them until they reach...
