The babies are still under 1/2. They would drown.

I think it was a mixture of dehydration and not eating. I fed it recently, but not misted. Just always keep your baby T's dirt damp, but dont directly spray them. Feed wvery day or so. I was just really busy lately and hadnt got around to it.

I will get some as soon as possible. They are still pretty small, but they are starting to look more like a tarantula, if yiu know what I mean.

So, 5 of the 6 tarantulas that I ordered have molted! the 2 P. Cambredgies, 2 LPs, and one A. Genic have all molted, and seem very happy. will kep you guys updated on my spiderling raising journey. Will try to get pictures up soon.

D. Tenebrosus are insane though. Lighting fast. At least the one I have. And they make very erratic movements, which doesnt help.

So, would you guys say that a Pokie is faster and more violent than Hogna and D. Tenebrosus? I own a couple, and they are EXTREMELY fast, and not very nice. They will jump a lot also.

I alresdy have 2 P. Cambredgies, which are starting to make nice little burrows. I am going to wait a while before getting any other pokies, and OWs. I want some P. Irmana slings. Is there anything else I could do to ladder step to more pokies and OWs? Thanks for all the advice, and none of it...

I like Avics too, but I hear that they are very fragile, and hard to raise from a sling. I am thinking of getting some GBBs, and maybe a Versicolor, but I will have to do my research.

I measured them. They looked like 1" at first though.

Well, its not too big. A 1 gallon jar. And the slings are 2" now. The jar is solid other than the lid, which is screw-off.

Any other reccomendations for the care on the pokies? I have their tanks humid, and they seem pretty warm, but I need to get some cork bark. Had one run up onto my arm, but luckily it was nice and let me wrangle it. I got their enclosures set up, and it should be good for them until they reach...
