Made the plunge and bought my first Old World today! It is a way too cute, way too beautiful Pelinobius muticus! I have had my eyes on one of these for a long time and finally felt ready to go for it

He didn't quite flip over but sure as heck ran laps around that enclosure for a while, then sat there staring at my every move until i turned out lights to let him settle down! Quite a new experience! He dug out a burrow though and seems a lot more settled thankfully! What a fantastic eater...

Awesome thank you! The T addiction had me for the past year now so its about that time to start a new addiction! haha I can tell I am going to be just as bad with scorpions! If I can find a clear container to put this little one into I will definitely post some good pics for an identification.

Well I finally got it! Boy oh Boy did this one keep me on my toes! Very fast and very quick to stand its ground, but I am loving it! was only able to get pics through the enclosure since it was pretty adamant about me not messing around with it any further....

Just for an update I finally got my first scorpion! It is amazing! I ended up getting an Asian forest scorpion???? Don't know the exact species, was just sold as Forest scorpion and the guy who actually knows about them wasn't in the day I bought it. Anyways here is a pic i was able to snap

And here I thought my B smithi sling was tiny...... Mine is at least double the size of this little one! Good luck with them and keep us updated.
