No need for pics as I found out the cause. Piece of sphagnum moss caught in the mouth bout half inch long but in a ball. Looks like ill try to get a replacement or refund. Thanks for your help!
Just picked up a pacman frog at NARBC and all seemed fine. Day later it spazzed out then went cold. When i first got it, it had a long piece of sphagnum moss stuck in its (throat?).
Pulled it out, and all was fine. Now looking at its dead body i'm trying to find what went wrong and I think i...

Ok, was at NARBC Tinley and got some pretty cool stuff. But there was one vendor selling Extatosoma tiaratum and this seemed really odd considering how strict APHIS is on Stick insects. Opinions?

I have a female Hogna Carolinensis for a couple of weeks now and she has been showing less and less activity and not wanting to go into her burrow. Fed her 1 or 2 days ago and she took the cricket with no force at all literally walking up to it like an elder and then attempting to grab the...
Chicago IL, spotted a huge hairless tarantula looking spider. Bout 2 inches pitch black and huge fangs.Stout legs unlike a wolfie. Possibly a purse web. Very fast and found on a field.
