My GP is not eating. I know I'm supposed to leave them alone but I'm concerned and want to see if anyone else has had the same issue. I got it as a sling in September '16. It was a regular eater (1 pinhead roach every 3 days). Very active as it would regularly crawl up the side of the enclosure...

My Phormictopus Cancerides male is very defensive and offensive. He's punched through a drinking straw before. Not a pet for handling.:chicken:

Phormictopus cancerides Male 5" and 5-6 years old. It was my understanding that this species matures in about 4 years, the with male being larger than the female reaching approx. 8" legspan.

Okay, but based on the size comparison, how old would you say it is? The seller said it was 5-6 years old.

Thank so much for the advice. I dropped in a pre-kill cricket and after 2 days, there was nothing left but the hind legs and her abdomen was considerably larger. You guys are awesome. Thanks again!
