What is that enclosure? Also are you heating an entire room that temperature or are you using another method to heat the enclosure?

    First Time OBT Owner

I got my first OBT when I was 12 or 13, I already owned a few New World species at the time and my dad got me a couple tarantulas as a surprise one day. The OBT was one of them but he originally planned on buying me one Avic but the pet shop employee offered him it for free with the Kritter...

    Funny common names

I mean I see both sides of the argument I was first into T's as a kid and back then other then the ones found in pet shops I found what T's were available in the hobby through a few SASE(self addressed stamped envelope) pricelist I would send away for by mail in the 90's that would advertise in...

List of scorpions with medically significant stings

C.gracilis was another on the list, also good to know! Like I replied to another poster I actually have a couple R. junceus but are R. garridoi similar in care? Those interest me as well. Some of the Uroplectes also seem very appealing.

List of scorpions with medically significant stings

I actually do like them and plan one getting at least one but for the most part I am interested in species I find some what exotic and visually appealing. I feel like they are so common I'm in no rush to buy one since they seem to be one of the four most available. I'm trying to build a nice...

List of scorpions with medically significant stings

Something else I would like to ask because I'm a little confused after reading old threads and sting reports... in general is death rare for the majority of scorpions even on the "hot" side? I see scorpions listed as deadly on one thread then find out while extremely painful people seem to be...

List of scorpions with medically significant stings

Which is why I asked for the list to begin with, seems like I will see a photo of a beautiful scorpion just to find out it's a little out my league for the time being. I can see myself getting them down the road anyway I would just like to stay clear of anything too serious for now until I build...

List of scorpions with medically significant stings

Something like that is exactly what I was looking for thanks. Anything that should be added to that list that might be missing? That question is open to anybody to add their two cents by the way.

List of scorpions with medically significant stings

Was curious if their is a complete list of all scorpions with medically significant venom? From what I have come across when I Google it I have seen their is supposedly only 25 scorpions that fit that definition. So what are the 25? People on here seem to be pretty knowledgeable so I was...

    Backwater Reptiles/Dictators?

I recently ordered a pair of P dictator from Exotic Pets Las Vegas. I heard so many bad reviews of Backwater I always avoid them even if they are the only ones to have what I want. My understanding is they are a drop shipping website and don't actually have most of the animals themselves.
