    Enclosure by Window

I would never keep a T where its enclosure would end up in direct sunlight.

Should I dig my T up?

No. Leave it alone. I have had tarantulas refuse to eat for 6 months. I head of them going as long as 18 months. Five weeks is nothing. It will be fine.

    T. Hobby Prices Compared to Previous (Other) Hobbies Prices

Mine is cycling: Surprise! It is very expensive and way to easy to justify. It is an investment in health of course. Then there is the N + 1 equation where you always need N + 1 bikes. Department stores and big box stores are off limits because they only sell children’s toys, anchor weights, and...

Caribena Versicolor...not eating for a month

My adult female sealed herself up for a month and then came out yesterday. She didn’t molt, I assume she didn’t want to be bothered. Yours may be in pre molt, or it may just want to be left alone. It knows what it’s doing.

Is this safe to feed this to my crickets?

My crickets eat a lot of cheerios and carrots. Nobody ever wants to finish off the cheerio box, so I steel what's left for the crickets.

    C. versicolor falling?

Mine was slipping and falling about a year ago. It ended up just fine. If I remember right, it molted shortly after I notice it.

    Is my tarantula in premolt??

Personally, I think you have a while before it molts. I have had Bachypelma hide in their burrow for months before molting. My B. hamorii just molted 3 weeks ago, it started refusing food last July.

C Versicolor molting in a scary position.

I'm glad it pulled through! I don't know about your spider friend though! His obsession with bicycles is rather strange.

    P. regalis or P. striata?

I've ordered a P. striata. My order has not shipped yet. P. regalis is now available from shipper. I was drawn to the striata because it looks similar to the regalis and regalis was not available at the time. Should I switch to a regalis? I want everyone's opinion. Does anybody keep both? Do...
