I've looked pretty much everywhere, even checked out underground reptiles in desperation. I'm trying to find s scolependra dehaani or subspinipes and a few mourning geckos. None of the big box guys seem to have them both in stock. I'd like to save on shipping so I'm wondering if any of you guys...
Man,you guys make me feel like i'm starving my ts. adults get 1 or two large crickets/superworm a week. slings get fed every other day. am I underfeeding? abdomen sizes aren't getting smaller
I use the clear gallon jars until they're large enough for the 31 quart (size B) "homz" brand clear storage bins from walmart, I like them a lot for arboreals
Just thought I'd post a pic of my beetles. kinda cute, huh? I separated a few superworms about a month or so ago, after they turned to beetles I put them in here. I've witnessed a couple of matings, hopefully I'll see some eggs soon!
P. metallica
I'd like a large monitor, but permits along with fear of it eating my dog have me stopped there
P. Metallica
P. metallica
I'll probably add others as time goes
Looks right to me! now the sp.2 makes sense, I thought you were using it as a general "spider no. 2" kind of thing.
Personally I haven't kept either genus, so I'm no use but hopefully someone out there has and can.
"General T care" kind of goes out the window when dealing with slings not to mention seperate geographic local tarantula. slings require a different set of conditions than a juvie or adult, and you can't treat a Brachypelma like you would a poec.
Black presley is a common name? just thought...
Very nice! quick response too. yeah I would just do the job outside, or at least in another room. they make a flea and tick spray too, I didn't have good luck with it though, the reptile mites stuff definitely worked like a charm.
It's simple, just distract them with candy.
Haha misworded, my bad, between the scales would be correct, not under haha
Sidenote: have you seen the scaleless ball pythons? they're adorable
I did not knot that, very interesting. I've only ever had to deal with reptile mites on the ball python, and some nasty little "spidermites" on one of my plants a while back, man those things destroyed my plant..
All the same, I know the reptile relief works wonders on reptile mites, and it's...
Natural chemistry reptile relief mite spray. this stuff flat out WORKS. I took in my ball python a few years ago and he was covered in mites. looked up this stuff and you can use it on the enclosure and the reptile. I used it on the young ball python, giving him a "spray bath" with the spray and...
I actually haven't disliked any T yet. my p. irminia threatens me a lot, but I think it's kind of cute. the one I'm most "worried" about is the euathlus sp red. just seems so fragile and so curious I'm afraid he will get a toe stuck someday. My b. boehmei both kick hairs like crazy but it hasn't...
