Hello there, well I had 3 female wolf spiders at the time I posted this,I tried to mate all three of them by just putting a male in their enclosure which ended pretty bad(two of them ate males while the third female wasn't interested at all) and then after a month all three made a burrow and...
Mostly when spiders stop eating it could be due to the pre-molt...but it could be due to the old age also as mentioned above,if you are certain its adult then its an old age
I have put female in one larger container and inside that container I put another smaller plastic container with a male inside it,its visible so they can see each other or sense idek...will see if they are willing to breed tomorrow
Hello ppl,I have noticed there are not many youtubers out there who make videos on true spiders,so I have made my first video...its spider feeding video, feel free to check it out:

Female definitely is a mature and as far as I know male seems like a mature too but don't know if he is penultimate...what would you do? Should I try putting them in a same containter with a barrier between them for 1-2 days?
Can someone explain me in details how to do it? I have got a female and male wolf spider (Arctosa maculata) caught wild, they've been with me for around 2 weeks.what I tried was:I feed them both before mating then after a few hours I put a male in females enclosure and he runs around until female...

Tall container, little bit of soil on bottom(optional, just for the looks and more natural feel),some plants, sticks so they can jump on,make sure lid doesnt have large holes as these spider can surely escape from container, dont put any kind of dish with water inside as they can easily drown(just...
Every jumping spider have to molt 5 or 6 times before they become adults so considering average lifespan of jumping spider (which is around a year) than they COULD molt every 2nd month I say they COULD not that they NEED...but either your jumping spider is adult or its not "RIPE TIME" for...
Fungi is growing because it's way too moist inside the jar,you need to put less water inside..but now find some way if possible to clean that fungi without damaging too much web as it can "kill" your spider and yes of course you still need to feed her
Don't feed him every day because you can overfeed him and it might have future problems with molting...do it every 3-4 days and yea if you are not really sure about this "overfeeding" thing just look at his abdomen if it's too large then most probably it's not hungry (unless its adult then it...
First of all don't disturb her because you can stress her out or damage the sac...And as jaredc said just leave water droplets on a leaf every few days, you can feed with flightless fruit flies or wingless fruit flies but I prefer flightless because they will never be able to fly so its much...
