About bloody time lol. The same goes for people on UK forums. I've been trying to correct it for ages but seem to get nowhere.
I've higlighted the most important of your post :D
Sorry, I cant answer that. Mine were imported from the Kwitara river region so the importer named them after where they were collected. I dont know if they have been looked at by the taxonomists yet so will keep mine as they are named for now.
Its better to know the locale they came from so...
Here in the UK we had an import of large green Avics back in Sept 08. They sold here as A. sp. "Kwitara river" but could possibly be the A. sp. "large green/metallica green" since they came from the right area. They were collected in the Rupununi area in Southern Guyana near the Brazilian...
A. sp. "amazonica" get big for an Avic at upto 9 inch legspan. Mine is only a juvie at 5.5 inch  A. braunshauseni, "peru purple", huriana and "kwitara river" also get reasonably large at approx 7 inches.
My largest Avics here are my MM and AF A. sp. "kwitara river". Both are just under...

I actually paid very little for these Ryan. They came from a very reputable dealer here in the UK. I have the collection data for them and according to Ray Gabriel they could possibly be the A. sp. "large green" that were around some time ago.
Too many  By far my favourite Genus. This is my lot.
9 x A. sp. "Amazonica"
7 x A. versicolor
2 x A. azuraklaasi
2 x A. sp. "Kwitara" (1 is mated)
5 x A. sp. "fasciculata"
1 x A. sp. "suriname"
5 x A. sp. "Peru purple"
2 x A. sp. "bicegoi"
1 x A. sp. "avicularia" mated
