i agree. hate the standard or metric system sometimes. for slings, i tend goes with ounces measurement since they are mostly 1.5" or 2" upward 4" diameter.
yeah, i noticed that with rounded size. they can climb out easier.
For deli cups/box, which would you rather to use a rounded or cornered (squared/rectangle)? Mainly for 8 oz. to 32 oz. since obvious the bigger (2.5 gallon and +) ones come commonly come in square/rectangle shaped enclosure and 2.5 and 5.5 oz. come in rounded cups/vials.

Just got several slings yesterday, had three slings molted in last 24 hours, 2- Lasiodora itabunae and 1- Lasiodora parahybana! Forward to see other slings molting, including Nhandu chromatus.

One of them molted during the mail, and other one molted three hours later after receiving the package. No slings died.

Grammostola pulchripes molted during my sleep last night. saw my very first molt tarantula.
it is #3 as i own 3 slings, 2 of them yet to molt but anytime soon. can't wait to show my boys when they get home from school today.
