  1. Tim B (Triprion)

Review by 'scorpanok' on item 'Tim B (Triprion)'

All of my critters arrived in excellent condition. The packing was a bit different than expected I can't argue against it's effectiveness. Communication was above par. During periods of spotty Communication he made sure to keep me in the loop.

Springtails... Should I be worried about them eating eggs?

    Substrate Issue

If the substrate still doesn't seem like it'll hold a burrow you could dump it out and allow it to dry completely. Then break it up and add more clay.

What's the closest you've been to permanently getting out of the hobby

For me it was after a surgery that reduced my balance, eyesight, and fine motor skills to a shadow of what they were. It led me to sell off all but three of my inverts. After about a year my eyesight had mostly returned to normal, and confidence in my ability to care for the animals I love grew.

    Which insect should I get?

I'd go with archimandrita tesselata. they may be a little pricey for a first insect as you'd want a small colony, but they're easy to care for and specimens tend to be easy to handle.
