    I'm in florida but I can never find queens... I have found some harvester ant nests but have not attempted to dig it up. I'd pay for a harvester or carpenter ant queen!

    Its 18" tall. With using a heatlamp do I keep it on for like 10-12 hours? Normally my room temp is 72-75.

    desert humidity

    yea i live in florida and the humidity in the house is about 70%. I keep the house cool around 72-74 so i got a reflector lamp with a 75watt bulb the temp in the tank is about 90, give or take. Is that too much heat?

    awesome thanks! Ok so the bad thing is i live in florida a super humid place.... it says to keep at 50-65% humidty. Right now the humidty is 75% is that gonna be a problem?

    Mines completely insane! I would never ever handle her. It moves at teleportation speeds and strikes at everything. Mines not a big eater and stays in its web most of the time. When its completely dark she comes out. They look awesome right after a molt!
