Also this wasn't purchased from a forum member, just a local guy cutting down on his collection.

Thanks for the information! I wont sell this as a breeder since there is no conclusive species. Just out of curiosity, about how long do these guys usually last after hitting their last molt?

I bought 'her' from another hobbyist, not a breeder. Fortunately I didn't pay much, so I'm not concerned with a refund. Plus its been around 6 months since the purchase. My main concern is getting him into the hands of a breeder as the correct species.

Sorry, wasn't sure if it was obvious in the pic, but he hooked out with this latest molt. So its definitely a male

This guy was sold to me as a female X. Immanis. It looked alot more dull when I first got him, but with his latest molt he matured and took on this awesome purple color. Problem is, I don't think its actually an X. Immanis now. I think it may be a pamphobeteus of some kind.

That time again: CAL POLY POMONA INSECT FAIR October 17 and 18, 2015 from 9am to 5pm

I went by there yesterday for a few hours. Had a lot of fun. Picked up an A. Genic sling, and then surprisingly won another Genic sling from you on my way out Joe. I actually felt a little bad about that one, but I'm definitely gonna contact you first when I get the cash for a Balfouri.
