    Theraphosa Stirmi Dying? Advice appreciated!

Yeah substrate is definitely moist, she also has a water dish in the corner. Like I said, I have looked after her for 4 years with no problems until now. Tbh I think she is gone... :( I'll give it a little longer as I don't want to disturb her just in case.

    Theraphosa Stirmi Dying? Advice appreciated!

Hi guys, My T. Stirmi girl is nearly 4 years old and was recently transferred into her new enclosure about 4 weeks ago. She seemed to settle in well enough often going in her new hide and ate her crickets the first few weeks. I noticed she only half ate the last two crickets I put in there and...

    Brachypelma Albopilosum growing really slow

Hugely depends on the conditions it's being raised in. My Father has a albo and I have a vagans both the same age but his grew to 5 inches in 2 years and my vagans is about 3 inches. He feeds his probably 2 - 3 times per week and mine is fed about once per week. Both are heated in similar...

    T.Stirmi Sling Pre-molt Yet?

Thanks guys. Temps shouldn't be an issue as my T's are kept at about 73 degrees most of the time and most of them have molted recently. At the moment it's very skittish flicking hairs and being defensive whenever I put another cricket in so she is not keen on eating anything else atm (she's fat...

    T.Stirmi Sling Pre-molt Yet?

Hey Guys, My Stirmi lost a leg about a month ago and recovered fine. It's only 2.5" and hasn't molted since 10/28/15. Do you think it's finally in pre-molt? Seems like such a long time between molts for only 2.5". Does loosing a limb extend their molt timing by a significant amount? Thanks!
